I'm Lacey Grace. As 6-time certified teacher in New York State, my love of teaching and learning is evident. While earning these certifications, I have spent a lot of time (and I mean a lot), sifting through the two websites New York State uses the most to certify and direct their teachers.

The TEACH system and the Office of Teaching Initiatives (OTI) are website with a goldmine of information. The issue many encounter is finding where the information is.

That is where I come in. Having spent massive amounts of time clicking almost every button I can find, reading every microscopic paragraph, and putting pieces of the puzzle together, I have become well versed in the in's and out's of the TEACH and OTI websites, as well as the pathways to certifications.

In various areas where teachers gather, whether on Facebook or in the faculty room, I would come across those who would struggle to navigate the sites or had questions that I had found the answers to. Having encountered all of this, I realized that there was a need and I could fulfill it.

I started holding workshops that would go over the basics of the two sites, and then found that people still had questions that were more specific to their situation, so then I started holding one on one sessions to address individuals circumstances.
